Jamaica Diaspora Canada Foundation

The Jamaican Diaspora Canada Foundation is a Canada-based nonprofit organization that connects Jamaicans and friends of Jamaica to support community development, cultural ties and national projects.

Born out of the inaugural Diaspora Conference, the Foundation focuses on diaspora engagement through:

• Membership programs
• Community events
• Youth leadership development
• Communications such as the “What A Gwaan” newsletter

Commitment to Jamaica’s Long-Term Development

The organization promotes participation in Jamaica’s long-term development goals, and provides resources, a calendar of events, and incentives for members.

With a friendly, professional approach, the Foundation invites Jamaicans, descendants and supporters in Canada to get involved, volunteer, and contribute skills or resources to help Jamaica reach its potential.
