Our Purpose

It can be challenging to access valuable information within certain communities for various reasons including biases, the limited knowledge of certain community members, limited time,  isolation, also the abundance of information can result in people not knowing where to start.

As an immigrant to Canada, founder Caleece experienced challenges finding services, experts, products and other community specific information.  Sadly, when she did find people or organizations in positions to help, though they did their best, they were sometimes not equipped to provide the much needed answers. Thankfully, Caleece is known to be a determined individual, and believes that despite challenges there is always an answer to a question, and if it doesn’t exist yet, as always we just need to do the work required to find or create the answer.

Because Caleece has found it challenging to access community specific information, out of frustration of not knowing, she sought out unique and convenient ways to remedy this issue for herself and community.

Access to quality information can help us all be and do better in life and simplifying the process of finding valuable information for and in diverse communities is why Diaspure exists.
